The magic is in the FitFlops midsole
FitFlops andals were co-created by Marcia Kilgore and Dr. David Cook at The Center for Human Performance at London’s LSBU, where Dr. Cook engineered the now patent-pending microwobbleboard technology into the midsole of Kilgore’s function forward flip flop concept.
FitFlop footwear features three (and sometimes four) distinct shore hardness’s of EVA in a single-fused underfoot piece to create a slight destabilization that challenges your muscles more every time you step, delivering A WORKOUT WHILE YOU WALK.
FitFlop footwear not only works your leg muscles more, wearers have also reported relief from plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, lower back and scoliosis related pain, lower limb swelling, and aching hips, knees and ankle joints. Try on a pair and get a workout while you walk!
“The FitFlop is a hybrid shoe that allows a more natural form of walking giving both comfort and improved performance in the calf and hip muscle groups in comparison to a training shoe. The overall pattern of the movement exhibits tendencies like walking barefoot, maintaining a more natural gait with reductions in shock related impacts by 17%. Increased speed of movement and decreased times with which the foot is in contact with the ground were found giving the benefit of a faster and more muscle-engaging walk.”
